The hardcover edition of The Second Coming of Christ ($58.00 ISBN:9780876125557) was printed in 2004 and has sold over 45,000 copies. In Fall 2007 we published a smaller work of extracts from The Second Coming of Christ, titled The Yoga of Jesus, to function both as a stand alone book and to cross-promote the larger work. The result has been a resounding success with sales of The Yoga of Jesus reaching 20,000 in just over six months, and sales of The Second Coming of Christ increasing as planned. With sales momentum of both titles strong, this seemed like an ideal time to publish a low cost paperback edition. Yogananda's unique perspective on the real meaning of Jesus' teachings, takes the reader on a revelatory journey, verse by verse, through the four Gospels. Dispelling centuries old misconceptions and dogma, this monumental work is destined to leave an indelible mark on the way the world views the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Some Christians do not understand the difference between the Rapture of the Church and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ will descend from heaven with a blast of a trumpet. All Christians on earth will be caught up into the clouds to meet Jesus and to be with Him throughout eternity. The Bible teaches that a 7-year period of time will occur where God will pour out His wrath on the unbelievers who have rejected the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ. This period of time is called the Tribulation. We believe that the Tribulation will occur immediately after the Rapture. We believe that the Second Coming of Christ will occur at the end of the Tribulation. When Jesus returns to earth, all Christians will return with Him. At that time a 1,000-year period of time called the Millennium will commence. During the Millennium, the earth will be in perfect peace. In this book we give a simple and easy-to-understand explanation of the Rapture, the Tribulation, the Second Coming of Christ and the Millennium.

Over the centuries, God has revealed to His prophets clues to the upcoming events of the end times. Such prophetic language often differs from other parts of Scripture, employing highly figurative details. God in His wisdom has imparted these clued to various prophets spanning centuries of time, civilizations and social levels, thus providing the modern-day reader a highly complex, yet complete prophetic puzzle pointing us forward to final days in earth's history. Therefore, a complete study is necessary to understanding Bible prophecy as the act of overlooking one prophet or vision will render an incomplete understanding. William miller was a simple New York farmer when God called him to become one of the cornerstones of the great revival movement that eventually formed the foundation of the Seventh-day Adventist church. A self-proclaimed agnostic, Miller had little to do with God or the bible for much of his adult life. However, as the Holy Spirit worked on his heart, Miller began an extensive study of the Scriptures where he found Christ as his personal friend and Saviour. Evidence From Scripture and History explores into the heart of many Bible prophecies both known and ambiguous. Backing up all claims wich Scripture and references, Miller takes the reader on an exhaustive study of Bible prophecy in this modern-day repring of an early advent study. - INTRODUCTION. LECTURE I. The Second Coming of Christ is fact and is a culmination of thousands of years of Bible prophecy. Jesus’ return reveals the future of the Jews, Gentiles, and the Christian church. His return also reveals the eternity of both the saved and unsaved. ALL ABOUT THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST is a book that comes from over 20 years of research, study, and teaching about the greatest event in the history of the world. Pastor Neale takes you on a journey to help you understand what the Bible teaches about the events surrounding Jesus’ return. ALL ABOUT THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST is not a seminary textbook. Each chapter is tailored for the person sitting in the church pew, who desires to know what the Bible teaches about the Second Coming. When you finish reading this book you will have a good understanding of the events of Christ’s return as they unfold through the pages of the Bible. This book is written to alert the world that Jesus is coming again, and it could happen today!
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give to every man according as his work shall be. —Revelation 22:12 KJV Are you prepared for the return of Jesus Christ? People have talked about it, read, wrote, sung, joked, and made movies about it. In March 2006, author Sarah A. Jones heard a voice in her dream say to her, “Let your testimony be: ‘Jesus Christ is Coming!’ The people must be told so that they can be prepared upon His arrival.” Therefore she has written this book about His return; what we can do according to God’s word to be prepared for this inevitable event; and what will happen to those who are not prepared. A MUST READ! I pray that this book will bless you, enlighten, and inspire you to seek God, and draw closer to Him in hope that you will be prepared for Jesus’ arrival. Allow God to speak to your heart as you read with expectation to hear and receive from Him. You will be amazed, and your life will never be the same. We guarantee it! Time is running out. Believe it or not; prepared or not; Jesus Christ is coming! For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with His truth. —Psalm 96:13 NJKV
The being whom we call Christ once walked the earth in flesh and blood at the beginning of our era. He will never again return in a physical body, for that was a unique event and will not be repeated. But He will come again in an etheric form in the period I have mentioned. People will learn to perceive Christ by virtue of growing towards him through this etheric perception. Many contemporaries were unaware of Christ's incarnation on earth at the beginning of the modern era. And today, says Rudolf Steiner, many remain ignorant of the most important event of our time: the appearance of Christ in the etheric - or life - realm of the earth. Fundamentalist and millennial groups await a second physical incarnation, while atheists and materialists deny spirit altogether. Nevertheless, an incisive transformation is taking place in the human soul that will lead to an emerging clairvoyance. Just as Paul perceived Christ at Damascus, so may every human being experience Him today. Also available as an Audio Book
The Lord will come again; He promised us that. But is His church ready? We know neither the day nor the hour of Christ’s return, but we are instructed to be ready at all times. Aimee Semple McPherson felt the urgency of this call, and she urges the church to be ready for His glorious return. Join “Sister Aimee,” whom Time magazine named one of the most influential people of the twentieth century, in discovering what the second coming of Christ means to the church today. In this book, she answers questions that face many believers: Is Christ coming? How is He coming? When is He coming? For whom is He coming? The harvest is ready, and the Lord will come back to reap a bountiful, mature body of believers. Be prepared to rise up and meet Christ when He appears in the clouds of glory!
This book was originally published in 1896. It has eight chapters, each one written by a well-known minister of the era, except the last chapter written by an unknown with the initials J.W. Written for the layman, not the scholar, each chapter is in one way or another about the return of Christ. It is a very good book for anyone seeking to learn the basics of the second coming of Christ, called eschatology. Even though I have written four books on Bible prophecy, I plan to read this book and add it to my library. (Michael D. Fortner, publisher) AUTHORS of the chapters: 1. Harriet Beecher Stowe 2. D. L. Moody 3. J. C. Ryle 4. George Muller 5. D.W. White 6. G. C. Needham 7. Charles H. Spurgeon 8. J.W.
The Reverend Clarence Larkin was one of the most widely influential thinkers on end-times prophecies of the early twentieth century, and his writings remain vital to appreciating the apocalyptic Christian thought that today enjoys widespread popularity. This 1918 work outlines exactly what the Bible predicts for the end of mankind's reign on Earth, and the return of the Christian savior, with a special emphasis on who is to be saved, and why. Numerous charts and illustrations depict the "Judgment Seat of Christ," "The Stages of the Second Coming," the "Failure of Man," and more.American Baptist pastor and author CLARENCE LARKIN (1850-1924) was born in Pennsylvania, and later set up his ministry there. He wrote extensively and popularly on a wide range of Biblical and theological matters.
